• Encanto Boulevard runs east to west and is ½ mile north of McDowell Road and ½ mile south of Thomas Road.

• The DPS Licensing Unit is located in the white, three story building on the northwest corner of 21st Avenue and Encanto Boulevard.

• Park on the Encanto Boulevard (south) side of the building and enter the door north of the bronze statue.

Licensing Unit Window

To submit a completed application

1. Enter through the glass doors that are north of the bronze statue

2. Immediately turn left and go into Suite 130

    The sign on the window reads:       LICENSING

                                                                 SUITE 130

                                                                 SECURITY GUARDS AND

                                                                 PRIVATE INVESTIGATORS

3. Put application and loose items in the brown envelope provided at the counter

4. Push your application through the slot below the window

5. The staff checks the window for applications often and date-stamps each envelope

6. Applications are processed in the order they are received

If you need to speak with someone or need assistance at the window

1. Enter through the glass doors that are north of the bronze statue

2. Immediately turn left and go into Suite 130

3. Pick up the phone on the counter

4. Dial 2361
