Encanto runs east to west and is ½ mile north of McDowell and ½ mile south of Thomas.
DPS has a white, three story building on the northwest corner of 21st Avenue and Encanto.
Park on the Encanto (south) side of the building and enter the door near the bronze statue.

To submit a completed application
To come to the Licensing Unit window, enter through the wooden door immediately to your LEFT of the building entrance. The sign on the door is "Security Guard and Private Investigator Licensing"
If there are loose items with your application, put everything in a brown envelope provided at the counter.
Push your application through the slot below the window. The staff checks for applications often and date-stamps each envelope. Applications are processed in the order they are received.
If you need to speak with someone
Dial 2361 on the wall phone in the main lobby or 602-223-2361 on a mobile phone.
A staff person will ask you to come into the Licensing Unit inner office through the wooden door marked "Security Guard and Private Investigator Licensing"
You will be met at the window.
